NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 28 — South Sudan President Salva Kiir suffered an embarrassing moment after he appeared clueless on how to go about wearing a translation ear-set in Russia.
Kiir who arrived in Moscow on Wednesday for a highly-publicized visit, the first a by a South Sudan leader, had difficulties putting on the translation device prompting an intervention by his host, President Vladmir Putin.
The South Sudanese leader fumbled with the device as Putin singled him to put wear an earpiece.
Earlier on, Kiir had laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin in Moscow.
He was received in Russia by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrey Rudenko and a group of African ambassadors and diplomats in Russia.
