NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 6 – In a significant move to invigorate Kenya’s economy, Chef Lebanon Consultants, a global consultancy company specializing in the hospitality sector, is set to create numerous employment opportunities for local residents by establishing operations at the Global Trade Center (GTC) in Nairobi.
The consultancy firm is in the process of launching the much-anticipated Pili Restaurant within the GTC.
The restaurant promises international standards while offering a delectable fusion of international cuisines and local flavors, positioning Kenya as a burgeoning regional business hub.
“As a consultancy company, we have already hired 45 dedicated professionals who will play integral roles in our restaurant service team and various kitchen departments,” said Chef Fadi, a spokesperson from Chef Lebanon Consultants.

The Consultancy company is strategically leveraging the appeal of the new mall at the GTC towers, which spans Nairobi’s urban landscape. This development has become a magnet for both local and international investments, heralding a wave of employment opportunities for the local populace.
Fadi explained the rationale behind their culinary approach, saying, “When we arrived in Nairobi, we conducted a thorough analysis of the job market and observed the locals’ profound appreciation for diverse cuisine. As a response, our menu will cater to customers from around the world, with a focus on sourcing ingredients for our various dishes from local and international suppliers.”
He added that the fruits and fresh vegetables served in the restaurant will be sourced from local fruit farms.
Moreover, Chef Lebanon Consultants revealed that certain ingredients, like premium meats, will be imported from European and Dubai markets.
The GTC project represents an expansive HOPSCA (Hotel, Office, Parking, Shopping Mall, Convention, and Apartment) development, and hosts the prestigious five-star JW Marriott Hotel, along with four residential and serviced apartment towers ranging from 24 to 28 levels and a luxury boutique mall.
Situated on a 7.5-acre property in the Westlands neighborhood near Upper Parklands, the GTC Tower boasts a commanding presence with front facades along both Waiyaki Way and the Chinese-built Nairobi Expressway.
The project is set to bring about substantial economic growth and employment prospects to Nairobi.
