Kisii, Kenya Jan 20 – Cardinal Otunga High School Mosocho in Kisii County is the leading school in the County after posting an average Mean Grade Score of 10.76 in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) exams.

Out of the 330 students who sat for the exams, the school managed to produce 28 A plains.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu who released the results on Friday disclosed that a total of 1, 146 students had scored a mean grade of A plains.

In the other results posted by the School: 201(A-), 97(B+), 3(B) and 1(B-).

The School Principal Chrispinus Owino told Capital News that the results are a great improvement to what the school had in 2021.

The school posted a Mean Grade Score of 7.44 in the 2021 KCSE exams.

“This is a remarkable performance,” Owino said adding that “it was teamwork”.

Owino also credited the teachers for putting effort into attaining “impressive results”.

“We are taking Cardinal to where it used to belong,” he said.

In the 2022 KCSE results, CS Machogu did not disclose the top performers.

He, however, revealed that the 2022 results are a great improvement compared to those of 2021.
