NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 8 – Several passengers were injured when a bus, traveling from Mombasa to Nairobi, struck an elephant that was crossing the road in Maungu.
The elephant, making its way from Tsavo West National Park into Tsavo East National Park, died on the spot while the bus was extensively damaged.
Victims of the accident were rushed to Moi County Referral Hospital in Voi for treatment.
